SKETCH TUESDAY 111 MINNA CHARACTER PAINTINGS

I tried working with watercolors and a water pen this time around. Two things I almost never work with. Yes, I work with gouache primarily. However, it is a much more forgiving medium than watercolor and easier to work with when trying to rush to finish my work for the art lovers over at 111 Minna. That said I still really enjoyed it, and the paintings still came out close to what I wanted. It was a little more work and waiting, but I enjoy the challenges and effects of watercolor.
I sold my paintings for $25 each. Here are two that didn't sell on Tuesday. I'll be working on some mythological characters at the next Sketch Tuesday so keep posted.
